Notice: Possible delays with prescriptions: more prescriptions are being sent to local pharmacies from the surgery electronically. Therefore pharmacies are experiencing delays in processing prescription requests. Please be patient with the surgery and local pharmacies during this national emergency.

Repeat Prescriptions

You may order your repeat prescriptions online 24 hours a day via the link at the top of this page. It is fast and simple to use as you will be able to view a list of your regular medication and select what you need rather than having to write it out yourself. You may also choose where you would like to indicating in the free text field before clicking on 'make request'.

Alternatively you can telephone the surgery after 09:30 to order your repeat prescriptions. Please have the names and strengths of medication you require to hand when calling.

Another way of ordering your repeat prescription is in person at the surgery. Please use our repeat prescription box or speak to a receptionist for support. Prescriptions will be ready in 48 working hours. Prescriptions ordered on Thursday will be ready for Monday, prescriptions ordered on Friday will be ready for Tuesday. Please allow an extra day for Bank Holidays.

Once you have made your request and depending on where you wish to collect your prescription, the whole process takes 2 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
